Firmstrong designs beach cruisers in Hermosa Beach, California. The company dates to the 2000s and sells adult hybrids/cruisers plus kids bikes aimed at paths and boardwalks, not race geometry. How to measure

Height filters the chart. Cycling inseam decides which overlapping size to keep. The method is the same for every brand.

Height and inseam

Height

Take shoes off and stand tall, looking straight ahead. A helper should rest a flat object on the crown of your head, then run a tape from the floor to the underside of that object. Save the number in inches and centimeters — charts use both.

Inseam

Stand tall and barefoot with feet slightly apart. Ask a helper to measure vertically from your crotch to the floor. Keep your legs straight and feet flat.
