GT Bike Size Chart

GT (Gary Turner) started in 1972 in Santa Ana, California, building BMX frames, then mountain bikes. Today the line is mountain, gravel, and hybrid rather than a full road race catalog. This page has GT’s charts for those three categories. BMX and dirt-jump bikes are often sized by top tube, not the adult XS–XL table — match the bike type before you compare labels.

How to measure

Height filters the chart. Cycling inseam decides which overlapping size to keep. The method is the same for every brand.

Height and inseam

Height

Take shoes off and stand tall, looking straight ahead. A helper should rest a flat object on the crown of your head, then run a tape from the floor to the underside of that object. Save the number in inches and centimeters — charts use both.

Inseam

Stand tall and barefoot with feet slightly apart. Ask a helper to measure vertically from your crotch to the floor. Keep your legs straight and feet flat.
