Pivot Bike Size Chart

Pivot Cycles was founded in 2007 in Tempe, Arizona, by Chris Cocalis, and builds mountain, gravel, and e-mountain bikes around dw-link suspension. Sizes are typically XS–XL with model-specific geometry, not road centimeters. This page has Pivot’s mountain and gravel charts. Trail 429 and Vault will not match letter-for-letter; use stack and reach after the height range.

How to measure

Height filters the chart. Cycling inseam decides which overlapping size to keep. The method is the same for every brand.

Height and inseam

Height

Take shoes off and stand tall, looking straight ahead. A helper should rest a flat object on the crown of your head, then run a tape from the floor to the underside of that object. Save the number in inches and centimeters — charts use both.

Inseam

Stand tall and barefoot with feet slightly apart. Ask a helper to measure vertically from your crotch to the floor. Keep your legs straight and feet flat.

  • What Pivot bike size do I need?

    Use your height on the Mountain and Gravel charts on this page. On the mountain table, 161-163 cm sits in both XS and S. Cycling inseam and standover pick the side. Then check stack and reach for the exact Pivot model.

  • Can I copy a Pivot size from one bike type to another?

    Not safely. Pivot Mountain and Gravel charts on this page are separate. A Pivot XS on the mountain table and a Pivot XS on the gravel table are not interchangeable.
