   7 models, 7 ranges

   This page lists 7 Rad Power Bikes models. The ranges start at 142 cm on the RadCity 5 Plus Step-Thru and RadWagon 4 and stop at 188 cm on the RadCity 5 Plus, RadRunner 2, RadRunner Plus, and RadRunner 3 Plus. The RadExpand 5 covers 147–178 cm, the narrowest range in the line-up. Every model is one frame, so the model you pick is the size you get.

2. 02

   Step-through frames start at 142 cm

   The two models that start at 142 cm are step-through frames. The high-step RadCity 5 Plus starts at 150 cm. The RadWagon 4 and the RadCity 5 Plus Step-Thru both cover 142–182 cm. A 145 cm rider fits those two models by the published range and sits outside the RadRunner line, which starts at 150 cm.

   Height is the only published rider number

   Rad Power Bikes publishes rider height, standover height, and seat height on each model spec page. It does not publish a rider inseam. The calculator therefore matches on height only. Read the standover and the minimum seat height on the product page before you order. A rider inside the height range can still fail the standover check.

   4 models share the 150–188 cm range

   The RadCity 5 Plus, RadRunner 2, RadRunner Plus, and RadRunner 3 Plus all list 150–188 cm. The four frames differ in standover height and seat height range, so the range does not decide between them. Pick the frame shape you can stand over, then confirm the saddle range covers your leg length.

   Short riders start at 142 cm

   A 142 cm rider fits the RadCity 5 Plus Step-Thru and the RadWagon 4. A 148 cm rider adds the RadExpand 5. A 150 cm rider adds the RadCity 5 Plus and the RadRunner models. Check the minimum seat height on each model page. The lowest saddle position decides whether a short rider reaches the pedal at the bottom of the stroke.

   Cargo changes the frame, not the height

   The RadWagon 4 has a longer rear frame than the RadRunner. The rider height ranges stay close. The RadWagon 4 covers 142–182 cm and the RadRunner models cover 150–188 cm. Check the rack limit and the total weight limit on the model page. A taller rider who carries two children needs the weight figure, not a taller frame.

7. 07

   Match the wheel to the standover

   Rad Power Bikes sells 20 inch, 22 inch, and 27.5 inch wheels. The wheel size changes the standover and the way the bike rolls. The RadExpand 5 uses a 20 inch wheel and folds. The RadCity 5 Plus uses a 27.5 inch wheel. Read the standover and the wheel size together on the spec page. A lower standover lets you put a foot down at a stop. A larger wheel rolls over rough pavement with less effort.

8. 08

   Tall riders stop at 188 cm

   The tallest 4 models cover 188 cm and the RadExpand 5 stops at 178 cm. A 190 cm rider sits outside every published range on this page. Check the maximum seat height and the seatpost length before you order. A longer seatpost raises the saddle. It does not change the reach.
