What this page is

U.S. Specialty Insurance Company, through Tokio Marine HCC Specialty Group.
- Deductible
$150, $250, or $350 per claim. You choose the amount.
- Value it will insure
$300 to $21,500 per bicycle for an online quote. The provider says it may cover a higher value by phone.
- Where it sells

- What is not covered

- Claims
File online at any hour. A theft claim needs a police report.
- Lock rule
Away from home, lock the bike to an immovable object with an approved lock. At home, a theft claim needs evidence of forced entry.
- Optional cover
You can add worldwide cover for up to 90 days, racing and event cover, lifetime new for old, and cover for accessories or extra wheelsets.
- Racing
Racing and event cover is an add-on. A crash in a race is outside the standard policy.
What is not covered
The provider's own page excludes these losses.
- Normal wear and tear: a worn drivetrain, a stretched chain, tire issues, and brake pads.
- Professional or sponsored riding, and any bike used for paid delivery, courier work, or carrying passengers.
- A retrofitted, homemade, or non-pedal-assist e-bike.
- A crash in a race or event without the racing and event add-on.
- A theft claim without a police report, or a bike that was not locked to an immovable object with an approved lock.
How a claim works
The provider's page names each step and the document it needs.
- File the claim online at any hour.
- Send the incident details, proof of ownership, and photos of the damage.
- For a theft, add the police report and evidence of the lock or forced entry. Keep the cut lock.
- The claims team reviews the file and arranges a repair or a replacement.
What to check before you buy

Compare the cover labels
Yes means the provider's own page lists the cover as standard. Racing shows the term from the table above, because providers sell it as an add-on or a separate policy. Read across a row to see the other providers' answers.
