Allez is Specialized's alloy road frame and it runs 44 to 61 cm. Allez Sprint is a different frame with its own ladder that starts at 49, so a Sprint size does not carry to this one.
Allez Sport size finder
Height gives you one size, or two when the published height ranges overlap. Stack, reach, and standover settle the overlap.
Enter your height and the Allez Sport size that covers it is marked in the tables below.
How to measureHeight gives the starting size. Standover and reach confirm it.
Height ranges
Height ranges for every Allez Sport size, 151 to 200 cm overall. 44: 155 to 163 cm. 49: 163 to 170 cm. 52: 170 to 175 cm. 54: 175 to 183 cm. 56: 180 to 188 cm. 58: 188 to 196 cm. 61: 188 to 196 cm.
Size chart
Rider height is Specialized's published Allez chart. Specialized publishes no rider inseam for this family, so the table shows height only.
44
5'1"–5'4"
155–163 cm
Smallest Allez frame, with the lowest standover at 715 mm. Allez Sprint has no 44.
49
5'4"–5'7"
163–170 cm
Smallest size the Sprint shares; reach grows only 3 mm from 44.
52
5'7"–5'9"
170–175 cm
Reach grows 5 mm from 49 while stack grows 16 mm, so this step raises the front end.
54
5'9"–6'0"
175–183 cm
Most riders start here. Stack and reach above are for this size.
56
5'11"–6'2"
180–188 cm
Largest reach step in the table, 8 mm over 54, with 21 mm more stack.
58
6'2"–6'5"
188–196 cm
20 mm more stack than 56. The largest stack step is 58 to 61, at 33 mm.
61
6'2"–6'5"
188–196 cm
Tallest Allez frame. Specialized publishes the same 188–196 cm band as 58, so reach and standover decide between them.

Sizing notes
Riders with the same height can need different sizes because inseam, torso length, flexibility, and preferred handling differ.
3 checks
Allez stack climbs 124 mm from 44 to 61 while reach grows 36 mm, so the front end rises more than three times as fast as the cockpit lengthens. That is a road fit built around bar height.
Specialized publishes 58 and 61 for the same 188–196 cm band. The two differ by 33 mm of stack, 6 mm of reach, and 31 mm of standover, so a rider at the top of the ladder has to choose on geometry rather than height.
The 56 to 58 step adds 20 mm of stack and 8 mm of reach, and 58 to 61 adds 33 mm and 6 mm. Both are large front-end jumps, so test the size before buying if you sit near either boundary.

Questions
Short answers for Specialized Allez Sport sizing.
Start with the Specialized height band: 44 for 155–163 cm, 49 for 163–170 cm, 52 for 170–175 cm, 54 for 175–183 cm, 56 for 180–188 cm, and 58 or 61 for 188–196 cm. Then confirm stack and standover for the size you land on.
No. Allez runs 44 to 61 cm and the Sprint starts at 49, so the Sprint has no 44. The frames are also different: at 54 the Sprint carries 537 mm of stack and 387 mm of reach against the Allez's 569 mm and 370 mm.
178 cm sits inside Specialized's 54 band of 175–183 cm. It carries 569 mm of stack, 370 mm of reach, and 781 mm of standover; 52 stops at 175 cm and 56 starts at 180 cm.
Specialized publishes the same 188–196 cm height band for both, so height does not separate them. 61 adds 33 mm of stack, 6 mm of reach, and 31 mm of standover, so take 61 only when you need the higher front end and can still clear 852 mm of standover.
Yes. Specialized publishes 44 for 155–163 cm with 519 mm of stack, 356 mm of reach, and 715 mm of standover. The Allez Sprint does not build it.
